“Connected” represents four attributes (four paths) that I personally struggle with on a daily basis. My goal is to perfect these as I take my life’s journey. They represent the path of love, hope, peace and kindness. Each, individually, won’t stand alone or represent a complete picture. But, together, connected, they make a complete scene that journey into life’s path.

My Inspiration for “Reach”

In my walk in life, I have felt a sense of a guidance or hand reaching out toward me and then past me, to a place unknown. As if to point to a place of euphoria. I, too, now reach for this unknown place with as great of determination as the vineyard reaches toward it’s golden day – the harvest.

My Inspiration for “Secret Kingdom”

I have a very visual response when reading about places and adventures in books. Particularly, I love reading and learning about bible stories and the environments they take place in. The description of the Garden of Eden is a place I personally want to be. After reading Genesis …2:8-14, I know I had to attempt to paint this environment. I really enjoyed exploring in this image as I painted it. I call it “Secret Kingdom” because of it’s rarity and a place I like to call home.
